DESSERT - Maynard's Simple Vanilla Ice Cream

This recipe is to be used in a small ice cream maker.

2 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1 3/4 cups milk
2 cups cream
2 teaspoons vanilla

Beat the eggs and sugar with an electric mixer until thick and cream-colored. Add milk, cream, and vanilla. Mix well.

Maynard would prepare this with a dinner of burgers and fries, and would start the ice cream maker when starting to cook the French fries.
