DESSERT - Cherry Crunch

This recipe is from the Wichita County Home Demonstration Club Cook Book of 1968. It is a favorite of Walter and Jewel.

2 cans cherry pie mix

2 sticks oleo

1 package yellow cake mix

1/2 pound slivered almonds

Butter oblong pan.

Put cherry pie mix into pan.

Spread cake mix over cherry mix.

Sprinkle almonds over this.

Pour melted oleo over this and bake at 350 degrees until brown.
