Air Fryer Chicken

 

Air Fryer Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/3 cup panko breadcrumbs (can be gluten free)
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons freshly ground pepper

Directions:

1.      Set the air fryer to 350°F and preheat for 3 to 5 minutes.

2.      In a large bowl or baking dish, mix together the breadcrumbs, cheese, seasonings, salt, and pepper.

3.      Brush both sides of chicken breasts with oil.

4.      Coat each completely with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing it into the meat so that it sticks.

5.      Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer on the grill plate or basket.

6.      Cook for 8 minutes.

7.      Turn the chicken over and continue to cook for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

8.      Remove the chicken to a clean cutting board and allow to rest for at least 3 minutes.

9.       Slice the breasts into 1/2 inch thick portions. Serve with your favorite sides.
