Asiago Garlic Rolls

Asiago Garlic Rolls
Makes 8 knots

Ingredients:
1 tube of either Pillsbury refrigerated biscuits OR crescent rolls
1/4 cup canola oil
3 Tablespoons freshly grated asiago cheese
1 clove fresh garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
Freshly ground black pepper

Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400F. Grease a baking sheet with butter or Pam and set aside.
2. With the biscuits -- Roll each round of biscuit dough into an 8-inch rope using the palms of your hands and tie into a knot. Place on prepared baking sheet. Bake 11-14 minutes in oven until golden brown.
With the Crescent Rolls -  Take a PAIR of the crescent rolls and leave them intact, connected together.  Then take the square of these two crescent rolls and fold them into smaller square by folding the points to the middle.  Repeat this, and if necessary twist the center to keep the roll intact.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients. When biscuits come out of the oven, brush them with the mixture while still hot. Serve warm.
