ROAST BEEF - Cathy's Eye of the Round Roast

3 lb. Eye of the Round Roast

1 teaspoon Accent

1/3 cup red wine (can be sweet or dry, we prefer sweet)

1/4 cup catsup

2 tablespoon cooking oil

2 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce

1 teaspoon prepared mustard

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper (fresh ground is preferred)

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Sprinkle both sides of roast with Accent. Place in shallow baking dish.

Thoroughly combine wine, catsup, cooking oil, soy sauce, worchestershire sauce, mustard salt pepper,and garlic powder.

Pour mixture over roast and marinate for 2 to 3 hours, turning once or twice. Place roast on broiler pan and broil about 6" from heat. Turn roast and baste with marinate. Broil a total of 35 to 45 minutes for a medium rare roast or until desired doneness.

6 to 8 servings
