SEAFOOD - Maynard and Ginny's Brunswick Boil

Maynard and Ginny Pittendreigh

While this may sound like an unpleasant skin disorder, it is actually a good recipe for large groups. Maynard and Ginny got this recipe while Maynard was serving the Altama Presbyterian Church in Brunswick, GA. The recipe comes from two of the church elders, Ron and Rhetta Sutton, who often entertained church groups at their home using this recipe.

Crawfish

Shrimp

Crab, live and in the shell

Potatoes, small and whole

Corn on the cob

Carrots

Crab seasoning bag

This will require a really big pot. Bring it to a hard boil. Add potatoes first and boil for 15 minutes (they will take a total of 25-40 minutes). Then add corn, and live crabs continue to cook for 5 minutes (they will take a total of 15 minutes). Then add carrotts and continue to cook for 10 minutes. Finally, add shrimp and continue to cook for about 2 to 3 minutes, until the shrimp is done.

Remove all contents and start eating.

Any of the ingredients can be omitted.
