FRIED CHICKEN - Daddy Bill's Fried Chicken

Bill Pittendreigh says, "I don't know when I started frying chicken. I only know my mother always soaked her chicken over night in buttermilk." Soaking in buttermilk is an important part of Daddy Bill's recipe.

6 chicken breasts cut in half

3 cups flour

1/2 teaspoons each salt, pepper, and lo???ry season salt

When ready to cook: mix flour and seasoning in a plastic bag which is large enough to hold chicken. Shake bag enough to mix the dry ingredients.

Then place chicken pieces in bag and shake until all pieces are covered.

Cook four pieces at a time 8 to 10 minutes (I use a Grandpappy Deep Frier).

Drain on paper towel.
