BISCUITS - Big Ma's Biscuits

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter

2 1/2 tablespoons sugar

1 beaten egg

3/4 cup buttermilk

1/4 cup club soda

1 teaspoon salt

5 cups Bisquick biscuit mix

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

2. Combine all of the ingredients. Knead the dough by hand until smooth.

3. Flour your hands. Pat the dough flat to 3/4 inch thick on waxed paper.

4. Cut out biscuits using biscuit cutter or glass.

5. Bake on greased baking sheet for 12 minutes.
