BEANS - Helen's Green Beans

1 large can "Hanover Brand" green beans (3 lb. 2oz. size)

Several pieces of "streak of lean" fat meat.

Cook "fat meat" in a heavy pot on low until rendered.

Open can of beans, drain, rinse beans 2 times in cold water.

Cook on low 2 hours with a peeled white onion in center of beans.

Serve hot, do not serve any juice left in pot.
