BARBEQUE CHICKEN - Maynard's BBQ Chicken

Whole chicken

Corn on the cob, cut in halves with husks removed

1. Cut chicken into half.

2. Cook bone side down first, allowing the fat from the skin to flavor the meat.

3. Cook for 35 minutes, then turn.

4. Total cooking time should be about 50 to 60 minutes.

5. Add corn to the grill, turning the corn occasionally.

6. In last 5 minutes of cooking, flip chicken so that the bone is down again and add the sauce. Don't add the sauce any earlier, or it will tend to burn.
