SWEET POTATO BISCUITS

1 cup self rising flour

½ cup baked sweet potato

3 Tablespoons shortening

1 Tablespoons sugar

1 ½ Teaspoons baking powder

2 Tablespoons milk

    1. Cut in sweet potato and shortening
    2. Add sugar, baking powder and milk.
    3. Knead on floured board.
    4. Roll and cut into shapes.
    5. Place on slightly greased baking sheet and bake in 400 degree F oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

Makes 10 to 12 biscuits
