Christmas Chocolate

 

Story

Ginny always looked forward to getting a box of Christmas Chocolate from Arnetta, who lived across the street from us.  When she moved to Chicago, we made sure to get a recipe.

 

16 ounces of salted roasted peanuts

16 ounces of unsalted roasted peanuts

12 ounce package of Nestles semi-sweet chocolate bits or chips

4 ounce bar of German Dark Chocolate

32 ounces of dark chocolate almond bark (vanilla)

 

In a crockpot, place the peanuts and chocolate and cook at low for 2 hours.

Cut off the crockpot.

Stir the candy.

Using teaspoon, drip onto wax paper.

Makes about 100 pieces

Freezes well.  To use, remove individual pieces about an  hour before using.
