CHURCH PUNCH

CHURCH PUNCH - Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church

I thought about naming this "Funeral Punch," or "Dead Guy Punch" because this was always served for the receptions in Fellowship Hall when we had funeral services.  Carol Quiett would make the punch and her husband, Frank, would serve it.  They were two of the most delightful people and always had a welcoming smile and kind words.

Take one quart of orange sherbert and vanilla ice cream and put the scoops into a punch bowl.

Pour one gallon of COLD Hawaiian Punch into the bowl.

Add one liter of COLD Sprite.

Stir and serve, trying to get a little sherbert and a little vanilla ice cream in each cup.

Serves about 20 to 30.

Carol would add vanilla ice cream, which Frank said, "would make it smoother in taste."
