CORNBREAD - Mac's Tennessee Style Cornbread

This is a recipe that Mac and Cathy got from country musician Reba McIntire's recipe collection.

Mix 2 boxes "Jiffy Cornbread Mix" according to directions on the package. Spread half of the batter in a greased oblong cooking dish.

Sprinkle 1 cup of jalapeno-monterey jack or sharp cheddar or any cheese you prefer (as spicey as you like).

Mix 1 can 8 oz. creamed corn into remaining cornbread batter and pour over cheese.

Bake 30-35 minutes until cornbread is set in center and browned.
